Inside the Perseus

A limited release of the Perseus Pro IV 16mm, dressed in red and gold for the 2026 Year of the Horse.

Underneath, it's the same paddle: Ben Johns' elongated Perseus shape with TechFlex Power, the Propulsion Core and a 16mm core.

  • TechFlex Power (TFP)

    JOOLA's patent-pending TechFlex Power places foam outside the paddle frame but under the edge guard, working with the honeycomb core to expand the sweet spot and add a poppier feel on drives.

  • Propulsion Core

    A polypropylene core with an EVA foam wall, paired with TechFlex Power for power with forgiveness.

  • Foam at the throat

    Foam applied at the paddle throat optimizes weight distribution in the frame, enhances flexibility and increases twist weight.

  • Textured carbon fiber surface

    JOOLA's textured carbon fiber face is built for spin and precision across drives, speed-ups and dinks.

  • 16mm core

    The 16mm core gives more control, dwell time and forgiveness. Best for touch shots and dinks.
